Omineca Resumes Trading and Receives Fairness Opinion

Cranbrook, B.C.; 04 December, 2012: Further to the press release of October 05, 2012 Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd. (“Omineca”) (TSX-V:OMM) is pleased to announce that following a review of initial documentation by the TSX-V, the halt in trading in the securities of Omineca will be lifted, with trading to resume on or about December 5, 2012. The TSX-V has further indicated that they have exempted Omineca from the sponsorship requirement for the proposed transaction.

Omineca Executes Letter of Intent to Acquire CVG Mining Ltd.

Cranbrook, B.C.; 05 October, 2012: Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd. (“Omineca”) (TSX-V:OMM) announces that an arm’s length Letter of Intent (“LOI”) dated September 18th, 2012, (with an effective date of October 4th, 2012) has been executed whereby Omineca has the exclusive right to acquire all issued and outstanding shares of CVG Mining Ltd., a private British Columbia corporation (“CVG”).

Omineca Commences Surface Geophysical Program at Sully

Cranbrook, B.C.; 11 June, 2012: Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd. (TSX-V:OMM) has commenced geophysical work at the Sully project, located near Fort Steele in southeastern British Columbia. As previously announced, Omineca has the option to acquire Gravitas Metals Corp. which in turn holds an option to earn an 80% interest in the Sully Property (see news release March 21st, 2012). The Property hosts a prominent gravity geophysical feature which has been the target of exploration activity to date.

Omineca Provides Update on Sully Drill Program

Cranbrook, B.C.; 12 April, 2012: Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd. (TSX-V:OMM) provides the following update on exploration drilling at the Sully project, located near Fort Steele in southeastern British Columbia. As of April 11th, drilling has progressed to a hole depth of 740 m (2,427’), or an actual vertical depth from surface of approximately 650m. Drilling has not yet encountered mineralization; however, the minimum vertical depth of the top of the target is estimated to be near this depth.

Omineca Provides Update on Sully Drill Program

Cranbrook, B.C.; 02 April, 2012: Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd. (TSX-V:OMM) provides the following update on exploration drilling at the Sully project, located near Fort Steele in southeastern British Columbia. As of April 1st, drilling has progressed to a depth of 377 m (1237 feet), with an average daily advance rate of approximately 50 m (164 feet) since the program commenced. The Sully target is projected at a minimum depth of approximately 640 m.

(Sierra Madre)(TSX-V:SMG) whereby Sierra Madre may acquire a 100% interest in the Harrison Gold Project (also referred to as the Abo project) located in south western British Columbia.

Omineca Commences Drilling Program at Kiwi Gold Project, Yukon Territory

Cranbrook B.C., 18 July, 2011: Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd. Ltd. (OMM: TSX-V) has mobilized equipment and crew to commence diamond drilling activity on its 100% owned Kiwi project located 70 km northeast of Ross River, in central Yukon. The $200,000 program will consist of 375 m in 3 holes, and is expected to take 5 days to complete. Drilling follows fieldwork completed in 2010.
